WHAT WE MEAN BY WOMEN BUILD

Creating Space. Not Exclusion.

Women Build Days are about creating opportunity. They provide a welcoming space for women to work together, learn hands-on construction skills, build confidence, and make a meaningful contribution to affordable housing in their community. Women are encouraged to organize teams, invite others to participate, and learn alongside experienced Habitat volunteers and site leaders.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Show Up. Learn. Build Something Real.

No experience needed. Just show up. You’ll work alongside other women, learn new skills, and be part of a supportive, hands-on experience that builds confidence as much as it builds a home.

  • No prior experience required

  • Led by skilled site supervisors

  • Hands-on construction skills

  • Supportive team environment

  • Come solo or bring a group

  • Make a real difference locally

GET INVOLVED

Pick a Day. Step In.

Come on your own or bring a group—either way, there’s a place for you here. Pick a day. Bring a friend. Step in.

Sign up for a build day and show up ready to work. All skill levels welcome — we’ll put you to use.

Bring your workplace, organization, or group of friends. We’ll set up a dedicated Women Build day for your crew.

Not everyone can swing a hammer — but everyone can help. Donations go directly to materials and build costs.
